Staff
David Coupland, Executive
Director
- David founded Computer Challenge in May 2000
and has served as its Executive Director since then. From 1979 - 2000
he worked in software development, management, and marketing at several
high tech firms
in Ann Arbor, MI including Geospectra Corporation, Applied Intelligent
Systems, and Electro-Scientific Industries. He earned an M.S. in Geophysics
from the University
of Michigan in 1979 and an M.A. in Education from the University of Michigan
in 2006. David is married with two sons and gained experience with youth
through 11 years
as a Boy
Scout
leader.
He
now teaches science and math at Kensington Woods High School in Howell,
MI, and enjoys hiking, kayaking,
skiing, and biking.
