Light Sensor Missions

For these missions you need a robot with a single light sensor in the front, pointing downward and about 1/4 inch from the surface.

1. Music in the dark. Make your robot go forward until it reaches the black line on the Mindstorms test pad, then play the notes EEEC, or notes of your choice.

2. Back and Forth. Write a program that makes your robot go back and forth between two black lines in an endless loop. Test your robot on the test pad that comes with the Mindstorms robot kit. Does it stay inside the black oval?

3. Balloon Challenge. Now you are ready for a real robot game! Be the first to pop all the balloons within a black oval. Read the rules for Balloon Challenge.

4. NASCAR Race. Race around an oval track by making your robot follow a line. Read the rules for NASCAR Race.
