A Robofest
Qualifying Event Host: Kensington Woods High School Robotics Club. Sponsors: What: Battling robots! Your robot will go head to head against the competition in a Robot Sumo match. Push the other robot out of the ring and you win! Junior (grades 5-9) and Senior (grades 9-12) divisions. Senior division has bigger robots and Sumo ring. The winners of this competition qualify to compete in the Robofest
World Championship at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield on April

Who: Middle and high school robotics clubs. For students, families, and coaches. All ages are welcome! Rules: See www.robofest.net for official Robofest rules.
Registration: Visit www.robofest.net to register. Awards: Trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division. Medals for all participants.
Cost: $45 per team to register with Robofest. No additional cost for this regional competition. Free popcorn! Drinks available for purchase. Bring: Robots, robot kits, laptops for programming, lunch or snacks.
