Students will each build a basic motorized battle robot and have practice battles with each other. They will then make modifications and improvements, then battle some more!
Using principles of simple machines, gearing, and mechanical advantage, they will try to flip, push, or smash their opponent’s battle robot. Students learn the use of mechanical lifts, drills, ramps and more to disable or overcome other bots.
Returning students will be assigned more challenging projects.
No experience necessary – they will learn everything they need to know to put together a winning BattleBot!
