A fantastic Friday night S.T.E.A.M. workshop—messy, hands-on, and filled with science that blends fun with inquiry-based learning! Students will create both Oobleck and Salt Clay from scratch, then sculpt their own creations to take home!
My name is Sarah Castrigano, and I’m a licensed art teacher and practicing artist based in Ohio. After teaching PreK–8 art, I now focus fully on The Treehouse, where I develop Fine Art and STEAM programming for our growing community.
In small group settings, I guide students through engaging, age-appropriate projects using a wide variety of tools and materials. While each lesson includes a structured project, I encourage creativity, curiosity, and personal expression.
My own art practice centers around fiber arts, especially weaving and tapestry using recycled materials and natural inspiration. I studied ceramics and studio art at Baldwin Wallace, and my work has been exhibited locally at BW’s Ritter Library, Fawick Gallery, and the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center.
