Join us for an evening of watercolor painting! Students will have the opportunity to explore watercolor painting in a supportive and enriching environment, learning useful techniques that will help them develop further mastery in the craft, such as wet on wet, wet on dry, color mixing, and resist.
My name is Sarah Castrigano, and I’m a licensed art teacher and practicing artist based in Ohio. After teaching PreK–8 art, I now focus fully on The Treehouse, where I develop Fine Art and STEAM programming for our growing community.
In small group settings, I guide students through engaging, age-appropriate projects using a wide variety of tools and materials. While each lesson includes a structured project, I encourage creativity, curiosity, and personal expression.
My own art practice centers around fiber arts, especially weaving and tapestry using recycled materials and natural inspiration. I studied ceramics and studio art at Baldwin Wallace, and my work has been exhibited locally at BW’s Ritter Library, Fawick Gallery, and the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center.
